THE Exeter RSL Snooker Club is still rolling and looking for new members.
Northern Tasmanian Billiard and Snooker Association committee member Lloyd Rogers said the club had players that varied in ages and background.

He said lessons could be organised for players wanting to improve their game.
"We have two teams within the club," Mr Rogers said.
"We have no problems with meeting, picking up or catching up with anybody who's interested in coming along to the club."

Eightball champ to demonstrate skills in North
WORLD eightball champion Mick Hill will give a demonstration of his skills at two exhibition evenings this week.
He will appear at the Launceston Workers Club tomorrow night and then at the Country Club Hotel at Longford on Friday.
The Englishman first won the world eightball title in 2004 and in July last year beat reigning world number one Gareth Potts 11-8 for the title.
The game was considered one of the best seen at the world titles due to the quality of play shown by both men.
Hill, 30, has been touring some of Australia's mainland states and agreed to come to Tasmania when approached by Northern eightball officials.
Country Club Hotel licensee Matthew Stringer was one of those responsible for organising his visit.
"His shows each night will go for a couple of hours and will give people a chance to hear how he reached the top as well as see a demonstration of his ability," Stringer said.
"He's won 41 major titles and is considered the most successful rules player in the world."
An eightball cue autographed by Hill will be raffled on each night of the show.
Hill will complete his visit to Tasmania when he takes part in a statewide calcutta at the Launceston Workers Club on Saturday night.

THE star-studded Works Blue team completed its brilliant run through the billiards finals series, downing reigning premiers Works Green to win the grand final.
From the bottom of the ladder and likely wooden spooners with two rounds remaining in the home and away series, Blue won the last two rounds, picking up 10 points to sneak into sixth place and a chance at the final series.
It then beat third-placed Works Gold, minor premiers Works Black, fourth-placed Flaming Devils and Works Green.

Alleys were drawn to determine the players contesting the second round, which saw Johansen turn the tables on Georgieff. However, Blues' trump players Pickett and Donati, both high ranked state players, needed all their skills to account for Morcom and Zammitt to clinch the final.
Pickett scored the season's highest break with a brilliant 126.

•The form of David Bates, who won the Northern championship and interclub consistency double.

For the Devils it has been a great season, highlighted by the improvement of 14-year-old Josh Rainbow who won 10 roster matches from 15 played, and stepped up during the final series, winning all four matches.
Works' star-studded Blue team of Graeme Pickett, Peter Donati, Michael Leslie and Hans Georgieff now face the defending premier Works Green, featuring Lee Morcom, Glen Johansen, George Zammit, David Thompson, Dallas Fry and Dean Wilson at the Launceston Workers Club tomorrow night.

Green into final after marathon
DEFENDING premier Works Green won a marathon semi- final against the Flaming Devils to advance to this year's Northern billiards grand final.
Locked together at 2-2 after the initial round, the match went to playoffs.
Under the playoff format, three alleys were drawn to determine who played a further game to 200 points off half their handicaps.
The match was again tied after the first two games, Dean Wilson beating Andrew Rainbow by three points and Roydyn Bishop beating George Zammit by 12 points.
The match between Glen Johansen and Heath Rainbow became the critical one with Johansen winning the 200-up game by 11 points.
Works Blue, which finished sixth, continued its winning way, eliminating the minor premier, Works Black, in the second upset of the finals series.
Featuring Graeme Pickett and Peter Donati, ranked two and three in the North, as well as Michael Leslie and Hans Georgieff, Works Blue proved too strong for the Black team. David Bates and Bruce Lockley had a great season for Black, however, with early success, their reduced handicaps made winning was a tough assignment.
