The 2010/2011 Billiards Roster (400 up from handicap)
The two top teams, RSL White and Works Raiders both suffered 3-1 defeats last week, at the hands of The Flaming Devils and Exeter Social Club. What looked like a strangle hold on the double chance now seems vulnerable with Works Blue and Works Black closing in, with just four weeks of the home and away matches remaining.
The Flaming Devils held onto fifth spot, downing RSL White, all three Rainbows, Heath, Josh and Andrew won for the Devils, Dennis Collins continued his good form for the RSL team.
Exeter’s Will Cameron notched up his first win, against Raiders Lionel Young, who was leading the most consistent stats, Derek Peart and Adam Bindoff also won for Exeter, Keith Coomber won his match for the Raiders.
Last years Premiers, Works Blue moved up to third with a 3-1 win over Works Gold, Graeme Pickett, as well as the Brown brothers Ethan and Zane won for Blue, Gary Bjarnoe-Elliott was Gold’s only winner.
Works Red had a 3-1 win over Works Green, Bob Cain, Peter Seaman and Steve Andjelkovic were Red’s winners, Dean Wilson won for Green.
Works Navy and Works Black had a 2-2 draw, Ben Conrades and Alan legg scored for Navy, Northern Billiard Champion David Bates continued his excellent form winning for Black, as did Terry Adams.
