The Northern Tasmanian Billiards and Snooker on advice from the Tasmanian Billiards and Snooker Association who in turn have been advised by the ABSC to stop all sanctioned events have meet tonight and effectively immediately the current 2019/20 Billiards Roster will not proceed on a weekly roster basis. The NTBSA have decided as the roster is 2/3 of the way through with every team playing each other twice we will abandon the last round and start the Finals series as set down which will be held on following dates at this stage. Wednesday 6/5 Thursday 7/5 Monday 11/5 Wednesday 13/5 Thursday 14/5 If these dates become unavailable, we will advise. The Snooker Season is set down for Wednesday 27/05 and at this stage may proceed at that date, as above we will issue revised dates if required. The 2019/20 NTBSA Billiards Championships have been cancelled completely. The NTBSA must put health first of all our players and respect the decisions of our National body. |
