THE Exeter RSL Snooker Club is still rolling and looking for new members.

Northern Tasmanian Billiard and Snooker Association committee member Lloyd Rogers said the club had players that varied in ages and background.

"My team's oldest member is in his 70s and the youngest would be mid-20s - there's a wide variety of ages," Mr Rogers said.

"We had three younger players who joined from the area that went on to play in the national championships recently.

"That kind of thing can happen if you get good enough, you can go on to represent the state in snooker."

He said lessons could be organised for players wanting to improve their game.

"We have two teams within the club," Mr Rogers said.

"We have no problems with meeting, picking up or catching up with anybody who's interested in coming along to the club."

Membership is open to anyone within the Tamar Valley and surrounding areas.
